Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 November 2025
Eoin Holland Photography Ltd. respects your privacy. This notice explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Irish data protection law.
We only process the data we need to deliver photography services, handle enquiries, and run this website securely.
What we collect

Technical information
When you browse the site we record essential server logs (IP address, browser, pages viewed, referrer) to keep the service secure. We do not use analytics, ad pixels, or tracking cookies ourselves. When you open one of the embedded Vimeo videos described below, Vimeo may set its own cookies to remember playback preferences.
How we use your data
- Answer enquiries and manage bookings
- Deliver photography, retouching, and video services
- Provide invoices, contracts, and delivery links
- Maintain secure backups of your commissioned imagery
- Comply with legal and accounting obligations
We never:
- Sell or rent personal data
- Share details with advertisers
- Use tracking or profiling scripts
Partners & Infrastructure
We rely on trusted infrastructure partners who process limited technical data solely to deliver the service:
- Cloudflare — DNS and edge security. Their privacy notice: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
- Vimeo — streaming infrastructure for select video portfolio pieces. Opening a video loads Vimeo's player, which receives your IP address, device information, and playback events so it can deliver the stream and prevent abuse. Vimeo may store cookies to remember volume, caption, or autoplay preferences. Their policy: vimeo.com/privacy
Fonts are served from our own servers. Aside from the Vimeo player embeds noted here, we do not load other third-party widgets, analytics, or social media iframes.
Embedded Vimeo videos
Video portfolio content uses Vimeo embeds that start as a poster image in the grid. When you select the card, the lightbox mounts an iframe sourced from player.vimeo.com so you can play the work in situ.
- What Vimeo receives: the page URL that requested the player, your IP address, browser details, and playback telemetry (play, pause, errors) required to stream the video and keep the platform secure.
- Cookies & local storage: Vimeo may write cookies or local storage entries for volume, captions, and autoplay preferences. We cannot read or modify this data.
- What we send: only the video ID needed to load the embed. We do not pass personal details or tracking IDs to Vimeo.
Review Vimeo's privacy policy for full information and adjust your Vimeo cookie settings or browser privacy controls if you prefer not to load the player.
Retention & security
- Booking records: retained for 7 years for accounting compliance
- Server logs: retained for up to 90 days
Data resides on EU servers (Ireland and France) with encryption, access controls, and regular backups. When data is no longer needed it is permanently deleted.
Your GDPR rights
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request deletion or restriction of processing

- Object to processing based on legitimate interests
